Numeric Keys stopped working

Hi community,

I own a MacBook Pro 13 inches, mid 2012 - I know, old - and recently did a clean install of macOS Catalina.

Everything seemed ok, until, for some reason, my numeric keys one through nine stopped working properly. It seemed they were not recognized, but after a few key strokes, they worked.

Now, they stopped completely.

I had a numeric password that I had to input using an external keyboard, and I had to change it so the Mac was usable.

I followed some guides online, but none of the actions worked.

Is there anyone who knows about this?

Thanks in advance,

Joao

It seems to be a keyboard hardware problem.

Try resetting NVRAM.

Try restarting in Safe Mode and see if the keys work.
