macbook app updates

The App Store icon on my Macbook show that 4 apps need updating. The apps are Garage Band , Keynote, Numbers and Pages. When I click on the App Store icon the 4 apps now show "OPEN" beside them. No other apps need updating. Why does the App Store icon still show "4" in the red dot?Macbook has latest OS.

Apps in App Store won't update (MacBook Pro) Hi I just purchased the Macbook pro 13 inch and it shoes that the following apps in the app store need to be updated: Keynote, Pages and Numbers; however, when I select update, they never get updated. I am using MacOS Catalina version 10.15.6 (up to date).

App store don't update the apps Hi, from a couple of weeks app store doesn't show me apps to update ( i know that there are at least 2 available updates). I tried to sign out and sign in, delete app store pref and cache but no result. When I click on my account in the low left corner the page show me some apps with the cloud/arrow symbol o download but I already have these apps on my hd, f.i. pages and numbers?! Sometimes, signing out of the App Store and then signing back in (requires your Apple ID and password) will clear those little quirks.
