Deletion a name / number in messages as well as contacts
I have deleted a contact but when search the name in messages the number still comes up - is it possible to delete this too?

Deleting a contact from Contact list does not delete messages and recent call list of that number.
To delete a message:
- In a message conversation, touch and hold the message bubble that you want to delete, then tap More.
- Tap , then tap Delete Message. If you want to delete all messages in the thread, tap Delete All in the upper-left corner. Then tap Delete Conversation.
