Macbook starting issues

Guys,

I purchased my MacBook Air in 2018. Its been working perfectly fine. It has never fallen once nor any liquid damage has occurred. From the past one week, its been having several starting problems. I did an SMC reset too but the problem seems persistent. I even showed this at the apple service center and they came up to me saying the motherboard has an issue and it needs to be replaced which actually is going to cost me the price equivalent to buying a new laptop altogether. This is insane.

I need someone’s urgent assistance on this.

Regards,

Priyanka

If the logic board is failing, there is nothing that can be done except replacing it, or replacing the Mac.

If you do decide to replace the computer, I will point out that AppleCare+ would have covered this completely and IMO is worth purchasing with any new Mac.
