Issues with watch face

When I raise my wrist to check the time, only a black screen appears, even when I tap on it. I have to click the side button, hit the screen with my palm and tap with my finger again to actually see the time. Help please!!

Try a hard restart. Hold the crown and side button at the same time until the apple logo shows. Good luck
