Photos in iCloud albums won’t sync with Photo

Hi everyone,

I have photos under several albums in my iCloud library but for some reason those albums appear empty on photos, both on the mac and iphones/ipads.

imI have tried creating a new photo library and sync again, but same issue.

I tried downloading the files and import them in photo, but the time stamps are wrong and I end up with duplicates on iCloud.

When first creating the albums, I chose to only show the photos in those albums.

What am I doing wrong ?

It’s in osx 10.13.6

I don't know how you the situation is possible, much less how to correct it. Let's start with what you might have done to get there.

You said, "When first creating the albums, I chose to only show the photos in those albums."

Just how did you choose that? As far as I know, photos cannot show only in albums; they have to live elsewhere in the library, and the albums just point there.
