Screen Color When Shutting down

With the NVRAM reset not resolving this, were you able to use Safe Mode to see if the screen flashes multiple colors while turning off?

Also, does having a charger connected or disconnected change what you see?

As you're seeing that this doesn't occur when shutting down from Safe Mode, this may be related to login items or applications open at the time of shutting down your Mac.
