Only some websites load on MacBook Pro, all load on ThinkPad

Strange issue this morning. My internet was out when I woke up so I reset my router/modem. Internet started working so I went to check news and email on my MacBook Pro. Homepage wouldn't load, some other pages loaded, some didn't, including this support community. The bar goes halfway across, then stops.

Logged into my company Lenovo laptop, using the same wifi channel but goes thru company vpn or something, and all websites load fine, including this one.

Same issue on my wife's MacBook Air.

Any ideas what settings I could look at on the Apple products?

Thank you.

You ISP may have some corrupted DNS caches on their end, or there may be something in your browser cache that could be causing interference. Your Lenovo would be using a different corporate ISP, with different DNS servers, and Safari would be out of the picture.

The question would be what is the Mac Internet access behavior after following MrHoffman's reboot advice.
