Have you got automatic updates on your software?

If you have your phone will have updated to IOS14 and your battery life will have been destroyed. Apple will tell you it's only temporary and your battery will go back to normal after 24-48 hours because the phone is changing the indexing on your iPhone but that's simply not true, my phone updated last week and now my phone discharges almost as fast as I can charge it. My phone is now not a mobile phone as it has to be plugged in and charging all of the time. If I take it off charge the battery goes from 100% - 0% in about 3 hours if it's not used, if it's used it lasts less than an hour. I'm going to have to buy a new phone (I have an IPhone 7 at the moment but exactly the same thing happened to my iPhone 4) but it's definitely not going to be an Apple!!!

I've read in other forums that the IOS14 battery problem isn't just with older phones like mine, even the very latest models are affected,

Is it a coincidence that the iPhone 12 is being launched this month?
