Deleting photos from Macbook

If I delete photos off my Macbook will it automatically delete it off my phone? And if not can I change a certain setting for it to happen?

If you have iCloud Photos turned on in both the Mac and in the iPhone, any photo you delete from one will also delete from the other and from iCloud. More information in Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
