Moving files in Finder

In Finder, why do files moved from Recents into Documents still show in Recent? Is there anyway to get them out of Recents and have them stay in Documents? If I move to Trash from Recents they delete everywhere. Running macOS 10.15.6.

Recents is a search folder.

It is not an actual folder and all of its contents exist somewhere else (in your home folder).

The search criteria finds files that have a last used date set, and displays them all in the one window, no matter where they actually exist in your home.
