Is there anyway I can figure out how to recover old text messages that I had to leave my phone I have my iCloud set up to where it should save my text messages but I have deleted some text messages in my phone and really need to recover them for an upcoming court case

If you are using messages in iCloud (Keep all your messages in iCloud - Apple Support) they are gone as deletions are permanent. Messages in iCloud is not a backup. Like almost all iCloud file services, it exists to sync messages across devices using the same iCloud account.
