music app keeps crashing

My problem with the app is I don't like the color of the app icon but thats not going to help you.

That won't work you have to set up as new since the back up is corrupted somehow. It is going to take some effort to get everything back as it was but its the next step in the process. Before you do though make sure you are using the latest iOS update.
i erased my phone and started all over and the app still crashes. I've deleted the music app and re installed and still crashes
That is strange. When you started over did you restore from a backup or set up as new?

but I deleted the music app after the reset
