Probably Note Remotely.

But stop the syncing on your iPhone, and decide whether or not to keep them on the iPhone, upon disabling the iCloud sharing.

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: [Your Name] (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: iCloud Photos
  5. Select: (a)To Remove the photos from the iPhone or (b)to Save them to your iPhone.

Syncing will end.

First check the iCloud storage in iPhone and don't delete photos , delete reset of unwanted storage used by other applications https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204247

If storage is still short buy new storage plan https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201318

When sufficient iCloud storage space is created search old photos https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/iphone/iph392d77d5f/ios

And delete them https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT205856

How do I delete photos and videos from a device using iCloud Photos?

If you want to remove photos and videos from all your iOS devices, your Mac, and iCloud.com, you can delete them in the Photos app

When you delete a photo or video from your Photos app, it also deletes from your iCloud Photos and iCloud storage. You can recover your photos and videos from the Recently Deleted album for 30 days.

After 30 days the photos are automatically erased from iCloud.com as well from the iPhone .
