My messages no longer come to my desktop, just to iPHONE- They used to come to all devices. I can't find a place in iCLoud pref to include messaging.

You won't find it in iCloud Preferences. Open the Messages app's Preferences > iMessage > Settings and confirm your iCloud Account is signed in there.
You can also "Enable Messages in iCloud." iCloud can sync text (SMS / MMS) messages too.
