Contacts showing up 3 times?

If we understand correctly, your contacts are showing 3 times. Contacts could be duplicated in an app if there are multiple accounts signed in and syncing the Contact data to it.

Which app are you seeing the duplicates in?

If you see duplicate contacts after setting up iCloud Contacts

Thanks for the update. If you go to Settings > Contacts, you should see Accounts. you can then see which accounts are sending data to the Contacts app. You can turn off Contacts in each of the accounts.

Accidentally marked helpful - this did not work for my problem. The triplicate copies are only for the Microsoft Exchange / Outlook copies from my work account. Not sure if it also has something to do with my work requiring the Outlook app for email.

Had the same issue but it was only for some contacts and they only showed twice. Also when I went to check the existing contacts to decide which ones to manually delete I noticed that the phone number was duplicated on the contact. So strange!
