WiFi and hotspot not visible

Suddenly my wifi and hotspot not working. I have reset network settings but the options doesn’t appear to turn on from settings. In the hotspot settings there have now only Bluetooth and cable connection option. But yesterday night I used hotspot. How can I fix this problem please?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 14

Hello Shayel225,


It sounds like your Wi-Fi and Personal Hotspot settings are not working following the reset of the Network Settings, and the options don't appear anymore to turn on WiFi and Personal Hotspot.


Do you see the settings for WiFi and Personal Hotspot, is it missing completely? Or rather, are you seeing WiFi greyed out and Personal Hotspot missing?


  1. A great place to start with this issue would be the guidance in: If Personal Hotspot is not working on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular). Please note: "If you can't find or turn on Personal Hotspot, check that your wireless carrier enabled it and that your wireless plan supports it."
