I reboot my IMAC early 2009 and now I cannot reinstall OS X compatible

How can I reinstall OS X again ? even old version ?

Please help

1. Startup from the original install disc or a flash drive w/OS X and open Disk Utility.

2. Highlight the new hard drive in the list of drives and select the Partition tab.

3. Under Volume Scheme select 1 Partition and click on the Options... button.

4. Select GUID Partition Table in the drop down window and click OK.

5. Set the Format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and click the Apply button.

6. Then quit Disk Utility and Install the OS X on the install disc or flash drive.
