Brand new Apple Watch 5 not working

Can anyone please help me?I took my new watch out of box tried charging it but it won’t charge,I tried resetting it ,still only seeing red lightning bolt can anyone please help me?thank you

Sometimes you have to let it charge for a while. You can Contact - Official Apple Support also.
