Scribble not working in Note

I have an iPadPro and Pencil 2 - as soon as I upgraded to iOS14, I could start a Note and Scribble would start automatically and convert handwriting to text. Don’t know what has happened, but now it doesn’t work any longer, Scribble doesn’t start and I can’t get my handwriting converted to text. Language and keyboards are set to English (US) and Scribble is enabled in Settings.

"Scribble not working in Note: [...]Interestingly, if I try Scribble with Reminders, it works... so it seems this is related to the Note settings?"

Do your Part:

Provide Apple Feedback on This:

Inform Apple of this so that they know what is going on. They won't get back to you directly on this, but the more feedback they receive on it, the more likely they are to fix it.

To Do So:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPad - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Proceed from there as necessary

Have you already tried a forced restart of your iPad?

  • iPad models with Face ID: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Power button until the device restarts.
  • iPad models with Home button, iPhone 6s or earlier, and iPod touch (6th generation) or earlier: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons until you see the Apple logo
