How do I Reset an iPad Mini Model A1432

How do I Reset an iPad Mini Model A1432 in which the original owner has passed away and the device ID and Password are unknown. It was given to me and I would like to use it or donate it. Can it be reset to Factory Original without knowing the ID and Password ? Thank You. kem651@hotmail.com

Sorry no.

You won't be able to bypass activation lock, without knowing the credentials that were used to activate that device.

Talk to a relative of the deceased owner and ask them if they can do this procedure:--> How to request access to a deceased family member's Apple accounts

Here are the Apple support pages that outline the Activation Lock - and the only mechanisms by which it can be turned off:

As you will discover, unless you are the owner of the AppleID that was last used to activate the device, or unless you can secure the cooperation of the previous owner, you’ll not be able to defeat or bypass the Activation Lock. Without documentary evidence that you are the original owner (such as sales receipt showing the serial number), Apple won’t assist - and nobody here will be able to help you.
