Hey there! Sorry for the troubles, I know it can be a pain not being able to sign in.

Take a look at this article:

Recover Your Apple ID..:

It sounds like you may have to request account recovery if you don’t have access to that number and didn’t have another trusted phone number.

Its an automated process, I know the more information you can provide, the faster the process.

Once your account is recovered and you have a new password, etc. you can set up a new trusted phone number, and make the necessary changes you need.

It May also be a good idea to add trusted devices/phone numbers, (Of trusted Family members or friends), in case you lose your device or phone number, this would prevent it from happening again:

Two Factor Authentication for Apple ID:

Its not like it used to be, to just reset it in a snap, I know it makes it more difficult, but if our accounts still had the old security, with the advancement of technology, we’d be much more vulnerable to hackers, etc.

So its a good thing, but I’ve also learned the hard way with my Apple ID when TFA came out, and once recovered, added Family members numbers to be trusted, now if I forget anything, I can reset the password like that!

Hope that helps!
