How can I stop or block unsolicited emails on my Mac Air?

Enable Junk Mail within the Mail >> Preferences. Next time a junk mail is received, Mark it a Junk or move it to Junk Folder. Mail will learn each time to move a message to junk and eventually automatically put futures message from this company / person to Junk
