Suspicious email from Apple (allegedly)

I got an email with a case# and basically what was stated in the email was that Apple noticed that some of my account information appears to be “missing or incorrect”, and that my iCloud will be blocked until we receive a response from you. “We need to verify your account information to continue using iCloud in 24 hours”.

Has anyone ever gotten an email like this ? Does it sound real?
