Does any know how to permanently show the ruler in Pages

Hi - Im hoping some knows a way to have the ruler on by default when creating a new Pages document?

I tried editing the traditional.template in 00B_Blank with no avail.

Hoping someone has a solution.

Thanks,

Sean

Always on Rulers are not a "sticky" setting in Pages Preferences, nor in a custom saved template. You must manually display them upon opening a new, or existing document via a Pages keyboard shortcut (⌘R) or the View menu : Show Rulers.
