How to remove this g*##$mn Java JDK popup?

If you don’t do any Java development, then uninstall any JDK that you may have. You are advised to uninstall any older (not current) versions anyway, JDK or RTE.

If you need Java to run local applications, then you should use the RTE, not the JDK.

If you need Java, then you are strongly advised to use the latest version at all times.

Java as a browser functionality is generally not advised from a security point of view, and you can disable that in the Java panel, as well as in individual browsers.

If a specific website is pushing these pop-ups, then stop visiting that site or use a good ad blocker.
