Updating from mac os 10.13 to 10.14
Hi, I've got a macbook pro (early 2011) and looking at updating mac os to 10.14. Can this be done? If yes how?

Thanks for that, been trying to connect two external monitors to my macbook pro and need atleast 10.14 to download driver that supports winstar usb to hdmi adapter!! any suggestions on how I can connect two monitors?

It is clear your mac does not have the hardware to support 10.14
So you have to look at your other options...
Only macs from 2012 and newer cannot upgrade to macOS Mojave or macOS Mojave.
High Sierra is the end of the road for OS for your mac.
The Winstar website doesn't really say which macOS's their adapters support, just says Apple macOS.
Have you tried contacting them directly to get clarification.
