I need to know if I can use the apple pencil 2 on my Macbook Pro.

Apple pencil is a touchscreen input device. It requires a touchscreen computer, such as an iPad.
You CAN use an iPad (equipped with an Apple Pencil) as an input device on your MacBook Pro, but not an Apple Pencil by itself.
