I'm getting a warning that "HP Utility" and FAXArchives.task" will damage my computer. I can't get my HP ENVY Photo printer to print.

I'm getting warning pop-ups that various apps [HP Utility"] can damage my computer. I can't get my printer to print. A queue is showing 8 items waiting to print. I tried dragging the offending items to the trash, but the printer will still not print.

Open >System Preferences>Software Update (Command R will reload and do a fresh check)

Update: HP Printer Software 5.1 should now be becoming available through Software Update to fix this issue.

If you still have an issue...

and listed as AirPrint printer, delete the existing printer in

> System Preferences> Printers & Scanners, and add it again, select AirPrint.
