Apple One + Apple TV+

Anyone know what’s happens to your free year of Apple TV+ if you subscribe to Apple One?

I literally signed up for a free year of TV+ yesterday after getting a new iPad Air. Subscription said it would renew annually in November 2021.

Since I also subscribe to an Apple Music family plan AND 200 gb iCloud plan I figure it makes sense to subscribe to an Apple One plan but “what happens to the free year of TV+??”

My situation was : I had 1yr free TV+ like you (which was supposed to end on November 4th), a 200GB iCloud plan and a Apple Music family sharing plan.

Over the weekend I saw "1 month free trial of Apple One", which I subscribed to, I cancelled my free TV+ one (thinking it was obsolete) and now I no longer have TV+. I will again have it for "free" after the trial month, assuming I'd continue with Apple One. Right now it would cost me 4.99 ... I also called the service desk and they weren't able to help me.

This is both bizarre and (really) disappointing. Apparently [FREE trial + FREE trial - FREE trial = PAY]. It's not about the money, mind you. It's the whole experience where you don't feel valued and appreciated as a (in my case loyal ... up to now at least) consumer.
