Update MacBook Pro Late 2011 to MacOS High Sierra 10.13

I´m struggeling to update my Macbook Pro Late 2011 from MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 to MacOS High Sierra 10.13.

Following the instructions on the following Page is not bringing success: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208969

The Download link is bringing me to a page opening the App-Store but only the Homepage and I do not reach the place to download the software. Info on the loading page "To use the Mac App Store, you need Mac OS 10.6.6 or greater. " is not helping at all as I have an older version.

Any idea what I can do to get the macOS High Sierra Download ?

Thanks in advance

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

10.12.6 is far later than 10.6.6! :)

Don't use Firefox for this link...

If you get a corrupted message...

Naw, not damaged, it's just that you have an old copy already in Applications, Trash the Install MacsOS High Sierra.app in Applications then a new copy more recent version can be downloaded
