Quicktime won't open in macOS Catalina

I can't get Quicktime to open in macOS Catalina. Everytime I try it crashes immediately and produces an error message. I can't uninstall it, I can't find a workaround. What is next?

I contacted Apple support and the only way we can work around my problem is to open a new user account on my computer and transfer all off my data to that one. Quicktime works in other accounts just not my main one.
