My iPhone 3is locked up and I can’t unlock it what do I do?
See this link, but it presumes you know the Apple ID and Apple ID password to unlock the phone. You must know this if it's your phone, correct?

Ya it’s our phone
OK....then to turn off activation lock, you enter your Apple ID and Apple ID Password. Which since it's your phone, you should know.
