CarPlay is not finding my car.

I just bought a used Honda Accord with CarPlay. however, no matter what I do, my iphone does not list any cars available under CarPlay. How can I get it to recognize this car? I have reset the car to factory settings, and done every suggestion that I've seen on this board. Thanks in Advance.

Hello,

Does the owners's manual verify that your particular Honda supports CarPlay? Note: most of the older Honda's do not support wireless CarPlay. You must connect your phone to the vehicle using a USB cable for CarPlay to work. See this for more detail:

Set up CarPlay with your iPhone

Good luck.

P.S. let us know if you get it figured out.
