All good, I finished downloading, I clicked I agree, and then the message appears: macOS Big Sur cannot be installed on "Machintosh HD".

it is possible your disk is formatted as MacOS Extended (journaled) Catalina and above require APFS, but I am not sure how to convert it.
Has it settled on you?

im trying rn because apple servers are rly slow, and you can find out in Disk Utility.
Look in Disk Utility ... info from your drive
