Power adapter not connected - but system assumes, that it is connected

My MacBook Pro assumes, that the Power Adapter is connected, but it isn't.

See the battery history in the last 24 hours:

the battery level goes down (from 9pm - 3am). But the horizontal bar with the lightning symbol shows, that the power adapter was connected. That's wrong. During the night, my MacBook was not connected and that is the reason why the battery level goes down.

Has anyone a similar problem?

by the way: you see on the left that it is charging (without power adapter !?), but instead the diagram on the right shows, that the battery level goes down.

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
