Safari refuses to connect idmsa.apple.com

(after upgrade from Sierra to High Sierra). Any other browser does connect it without a problem.

FYI, I got a hint that helped me: import of "Apple IST CA 2" certificate from here has sorted the problem.

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?

Thank you for reply.

With new account it is the same - Safari can't establish HTTPS with idmsa. So, seems, it is recent update hurt something in Safari.

I wasn't able to get to Safe Mode - progress bar reaches the end and then nothing happens for like 10 minutes. I'll retry when leaving for sleep.

Any other ideas, please?
