Time Machine Extended backup to APFS

Just want to make sure I am all set before making the jump. Looking to upgrade a 2010 iMac High Sierra from HDD (Mac OS Extended) to SSD which will be APFS. Also have a Time Machine backup in Mac OS Extended. I shouldn't have any issues restoring from Extended to APFS once I switch, correct? Thanks.

No you shouldn't. Apple still recommends Time Machine backups be on Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

formatted Disks.
