Garageband Chord Viewer

Hi there,

I used to be able to plug my MIDI keyboard in and play a chord and instantly see the chord being played on the top display thing that's right under the project name. I haven't used garageband in a few months, but I came back to play my keyboard today and I can no longer see then name of the key or chord being played. How do I get this back? The only thing I can think of is the tuning fork icon, but I'm not sure that's what I need and it is also greyed out.

Thanks!

This isn't quite what I'm talking about— it used to show up in this window

Also, the tuning fork is greyed out. I've looked up what to do and it says to check to make sure an input is selected— I definitely have an input selected and it is registering the input from my MIDI device, but I still cannot open the tuner.
