Mail crashing on Big Sur

We understand that your mail app isn't working as expected after updating to Big Sur.

Did you already try restarting your Mac?

• macOS User Guide: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac

If so, try starting in safe mode and see if the mail app works there. If it does, restart and boot back into normal mode and then try opening the Mail app.
