How to sort the notes into alphabetical order on the Mac

I mostly create notes on my iPhone - and this has been set under settings to list out in title /alphabetical order. but this order is not replicated on my Macbook air.. the laptop seems to list it on a usage basis.. I want it in alphabetical order thanks

Open Notes app on your MacBook Air ➔ On the Menu bar, choose Notes ➔ Preferences ➔ Sort Notes By : Choose Title.
