How is Apple going to work around the COVID-19 lockdown in California? So far everywhere in our area is sold out of the 32gig iPad including the Apple Store... apparently they are supposed to have them back in stock in January which is fine I guess, but I was hoping to get the kids some iPads for Christmas...
iPads worldwide are in high demand due to the pandemic. This demand has only increased since holiday shopping began. For most of this year, most iPads have had shipping times between 4 and 8 weeks. Unfortunately, there is no way around this unless you find a local reseller that happens to have some in stock.
Supply chains all over the world have been disrupted. I've been trying to buy a set of shelves from IKEA for about four months. They're always out of stock. The now have a notice on their web page that, well, supply chains have been disrupted....
