Being not an option at this moment, you can recommend this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly on this, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers desire and what options they could provide to suit their needs and wants.

You cannot. Apple’s over the air backup system, as currently implemented, requires a wifi connection.
