Problem with Ace Office on MacBook Air

Since I updated to BigSur, Ace Office won't work anymore. When I launch it, it says that an unexpected error occurred that caused it to crash, and that the following files will be recovered. There are no files listed below that statement, and when I select "ok" it just runs with that circle perpetually until I force quit. I tried deleting and re-installing, twice. I've tried first aid in disk utilities. Any suggestions?

I just checked the most recent reviews for Ace Office in the App Store and it seems apparent that it has not been updated for Big Sur. Also the App Store shows that their most recent update was 1 year ago.

If you want a very good free app that works very well with Microsoft Office files and which is kept up to date, you may want to consider Libre Office. See: https://www.libreoffice.org/
