I am trying to find a docking station for my 15” MacBook Pro from 2014. Is it possible to connect a docking station with a USB-C connection to my thunderbolt 2 port? Or is there another way to connect a docking station to a 2014 MacBook?

No, an adapter won’t work. You’d need a Thunderbolt 2 dock, there are used ones on eBay and that’s your best bet.
