Hello, half my notes suddenly disappeared on my iPad Pro; but they appear on my other devices and in iCloud. I’m a heavy Apple Notes user; this is disconcerting. They are not in deleted folder. Total number of notes in cloud (top folder) is 1,662 according to ipad, but all other devices that number is 2,220. Any ideas?

That worked! I toggled the Notes sync in Settings under iCloud. A momentary heart palpitation while all notes got deleted, but 100% of them were restored when I turned it back on. Thank you, great idea.
If the notes are still at www.icloud.com, have you tried toggling Notes off/on on the problematic device?
