Is there a fix for the future version of MacOS for those systems with software that will be incompatible with it?

Can the Legacy extension be deleted and the computer still work without the extension?

I am a newbie but i did find this support page specific to legacy extensions and MacOs.

See support apple com /en-us/HT21099

Seems extensions need to be updated by developers from 32-bit to 64-bit. And maybe security and privacy? Some developers haven’t yet or will not. At this point, we may need to ask devs if they plan to comply in Catalina or even Big Sur.
