????How to recover vanished files after upgrading Big Sur?????

My files except desktop and photos are all vanished after I upgrading from yosemite to Big Sur. I haven't received any notification to copy my files into portable disks or something like that. So I moved downloads and documents to boot disk, however all of these and other files are deleted. Despite the fault of mine or operating system, I really need to recover the files that deleted. Please help ????

My previous OS was Yosemite 10.10.05 and was so poor, I even couldn't download apps and safari couldn't access to some websites including Wikipedia. Please help me to recover my files

The usual method of recovering missing files is to restore them from a Time Machine backup.
