Family Sharing

You can’t. Only the organizer can do that, as the payment methods in family sharing by definition belong to them and are tied to their account.

When in Family Sharing, members of the family group cannot use their own Payment methods. Only the one set by the Organizer on their account.

If you want to pay for your own purchases, you can do so with gift card credit redeemed onto your account.

If you are a member of a family in Family Sharing then the organizer's payment method will be used. You are not going to be able to change it. The organizer is the only one who can because all purchases will be charged to the organizer's payment card.
