iPhone 12 pro Images are converting from (dng)RAW to JPG when transferred.

Hi, I have the iPhone 12 Pro running the latest 14.3 update with ProRaw enabled.


When I take a photo in RAW I want to transfer it to my Mac to edit it. When I do transfer it though, it converts the (dng) RAW file into a JPG, I can't edit this then as a RAW file. I use Image Capture to transfer the image. For some reason my Airdrop doesn't work, I'm having issues with that. My question is how can I transfer the photos from my iPhone to Mac but retain the dng(RAW) format of the photos i've taken. regards Jayski

On your iPhone, scroll to the bottom of Settings > Photos. Is TRANSFER TO MAC OR PC set to Automatic or Keep Originals?

What version of macOS do you run on your Mac?
